Laban writing instruments are covered by a 3-year warranty against mechanical failures due to faulty materials or workmanship.

During this period, Laban will repair or replace defective parts free of charge at its discretion when the instrument is returned to Laban or an authorized dealer. This warranty applies only to products purchased through authorized sellers and does not cover damage from accidents, misuse, improper maintenance, unauthorized modifications, or use inconsistent with Laban’s instructions. Consumables such as leads, erasers, and ink refills are also excluded. Please retain your authorized warranty card as proof of purchase when making a claim.

LAMY Shop now offers an extended warranty period, increasing coverage from two to three years for purchases made directly from their shop. This warranty covers free repairs for any material or manufacturing defects within three years of purchase, though it does not cover damage from improper handling or normal wear and tear. Engraved or imprinted items cannot be returned, but they are still eligible for repairs under the standard three-year warranty.

To access the warranty, customers must provide a dated receipt or invoice. If a repair is not covered under warranty, LAMY will provide an estimate before proceeding. Evaluation of writing instruments is free, and spare parts are also available for purchase.

Visconti pens are synonymous with style, innovation and quality. Each Visconti pen comes with our manufacturer warranty and is covered between 2 years and a lifetime, depending on the pen type purchased. The warranty covers all mechanical defects and defects in workmanship. Of course from time to time repairs will be necessary.
