Japanese-made Sailor 1911 fountain pens feature a superb, flexible nib designed by Mr. Nagahara, the revered master nib maker at Sailor. It’s a classic design in high-quality resin with precious metal trim in Large or Standard barrel sizes. The Large has a 21K gold nib; Standard nib is 14K gold.

In addition to regular nib points, Sailor offers the unique MF, Music and Zoom nibs popular in Japan. The Music nib is like an italic point with smooth edges – up and down strokes are thick, while side strokes are thin. Zoom nibs give you fine, medium and broad strokes depending on the writing angle. MF is a size between medium and fine.

1911L and 1911S fountain pens come in polished Black resin with gold or silver trim and the Clear demonstrator with gold or silver trim. Each pen is shipped in a Sailor gift box with two ink cartridges and a converter for bottle filling.
