Originally introduced in 1929, the Sheaffer Balance helped define a new era of pen design with its tapered profile and rounded silhouette. Balance III brings that unmistakable shape into the present with a glossy black resin body, offered with either chrome or gold trim.
The Sheaffer Balance III collection lets you enjoy the style and function of writing instruments from yesteryear in fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint models. The fountain pen model features a piston-fill ink loading system, transparent ink window and a #6 bi-color stainless-steel nib with heritage-inspired details, including a heart-shaped breather hole and Sheaffer’s founding year, 1913. Extra Fine, Fine, Medium and Broad nib sizes are available.

Orders $75 and over qualify for free standard shipping. Orders under $75 start at $9.99. Delivery is available to most U.S. states and territories.
International Orders
Rates are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Duties and taxes are the recipient’s responsibility. DHL is the primary carrier, though other options may be available depending on destination.
